  • Conjugated Estrogens (CEs) or Conjugated Equine Estrogens (CEEs) - trade names include Premarin, Conjugase, Conpremin, Elrredin, Estroplus, Presomen 28, Primax, Six Din - is a hormonal medication from combination of estrogens pharmacological group. This medicine is indicated for menopausal hormone therapy in postmenopausal women who have had a hysterectomy for the treatment of moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms (hot flashes), vulvovaginal atrophy (atrophic vaginitis, atrophic urethritis), itching, burning, dryness of the vagina and surrounding areas; hypoestrogenism due to hypogonadism, ovariectomy, primary ovarian failure, abnormal uterine bleeding, for high-dose estrogen therapy of breast cancer in both women and men, prostate cancer in men, the prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis.
    Estrogens Conjugated are available in oral (tablets, caplets, dragees, capsules), intravenous injections, topical and local vaginal (cream, gel) pharmaceutical forms.
